The TMC222 integrates an I2C interface, a positioning controller, and an 800mA, 2-phase stepper motor driver in a single chip. The driver features a resolution of up to 16 micro steps and integrates high performance current regulation.The TMC222 is ideal for a wide range of distributed single axis positioning applications.

The TMC428 is a high performance stepper motor control IC. It controls one to three 2-phase stepper motors and autonomously handles all real time critical motion control tasks including ramping and microstep sequencing. All target parameters such as position, velocity and acceleration can be changed on-the-fly.

The TMC246 is a dual full bridge driver IC for bipolar stepper motor control applications. The TMC246 features StallGuard; sensor less stall detection. StallGuard detects a stall in the motor without the use of an encoder. Its ability to predict an overload makes the TMC246 an ideal choice for drives where high reliability is desired.
