With the patented Signature Series technology, the 3709 series is ideal for microstepping control and recommended wherever accuracy and resonance might be an issue.  Some specific examples where you may need a high accuracy motor include, but are not limited to, the following applications: automation, medical pumps, printing, semiconductor, and surveillance cameras.

Although the 3709 motors are capable to producing up to 16 oz-in of torque, they weight a mere .27 lbs and are only .82 inches thick.  In addition, numerous and custom bipolar windings are available, at no extra cost, in order to allow for the torque and speed required to accommodate your application.
